Margaret Ebert

Project Geochemist

Margaret Ebert has more than 25 years of experience in France and the U.S. She recently joined ITASCA as a geochemist focusing on geochemical modeling and characterization work, both on active mines and for permitting. Her master’s degree from Université de Paris VII in Paris, France, is in Fundamental and Applied Geochemistry, although much of her professional career has been spent working as a business and IT consultant to overhaul IT application architecture to improve business processes and increase productivity across multiple industries, such as aeronautics, automotive manufacturing, and air-traffic control. Recent geochemical experience includes executing geochemical modeling, geochemical characterization programs, water quality monitoring, and technical reporting. Projects include CERCLA-site legacy mines, active mines, and mine permitting. Her technical expertise includes both geochemistry-specific and IT tools, including PHREEQC, Geochemist’s Workbench, PostGres, and Oracle Database.
